1. Check if the watertank in the unit is filled with tapwater. You'll find 2 tanks, one for wastewater (with tape) and one for tapwater (no tape).
   
   
2. Fill the beanholders. Both containers need to be filled. One is voor espresso, the other is for coffee (same beans, different grinding). The small lit in the middle is for a cleanintablet.
   
   
3. Fill the fridge: Put milk in the transparant container or remove the container and put the tube in a milk carton.
   
   
4. Starting the machine:  Insert the plug (the one behind the watertanks), you can pull it trough the hole in the bottom of the unit. Turn both switches on. The switches can be found by opening the doors of the machine (Press the small metal pin on top of the door, behind the display).
   
   
5. Close the doors, wait till the machine is warmed up and make yourself a nice coffee, enjoy!
   
   

1. Press the metal pin behind the display and pull towards you.
   
   
2. Pull the driptray and container towards you and empty them.
   
   
3. Put the driptray and container back and close the door.
   

The machine has a mandatory cleaning program, without cleaning it can't be used the next day. The cleaningtablets can be found inside the fridge. The milkcleaner and the blue cleaning container can be found near the machine.

1. Press the FRANKE logo in the left upper corner of the display. the PIN code is "1111".
   
   
2. Press "Reiniging en onderhoud" or "Cleaning and maintenance".
   
   
3. Press "Koffiemachine Reinigen" or "Cleaning the coffee machine" and follow the steps on the display and confirm with "Verder/next".
    
4. When the machine is cleaned it will automatically go to energysaving modus. The next day you'll only have to tap on the screen to start the machine.
